Shift patterns
Your organisation has unique staffing requirements and shift patterns. Often, you
find that these requirements and shift patterns repeat themselves within each location.
Rotagen allows you to build up a library of these requirements, so that
you can reuse them for different scenarios. You'll save time by not having to define
shifts for every rota period and the library can be used to develop 'what if' experiments
when you need to change your shift patterns.
All of these shift patterns are totally reusable every time you need to create a
new rota. You'll never again have to start with a 'blank piece of paper'.
Using simple 'drag and drop', you can build up the shifts and the staffing levels
needed to suit your requirements. You can also decide how important it is to have
positions filled, by allocating priorities to staff, roles or shifts.
A master shift pattern library reflects the natural repeating work cycle that fits
your organisation or individual locations.
Again, using simple 'drag and drop', shift patterns from the pattern library or
discrete shifts can be included in your cycle.
