Staff 'ownership'
Subject to the security rights you create, your staff can look at their own current
and historical rota information, including their day-to-day calendar or schedule.
Management information includes accrued absence with reasons, holidays taken and
time worked, as well as more general information about staff such as contact details.
Making, for example, the 'holidays taken' open to view, you'll find you have fewer
and fewer 'holiday' queries to deal with!
Paying the wages
Staff details held within Rotagen include maximum hours to be worked (helping
you to comply with government initiatives about working time), cost details for
each work role at specific locations and whether or not overtime is to be paid or
time off in lieu (TOIL) to be taken instead. Rotagen accrues overtime,
TOIL and other timesheet information for you, making submissions to your payroll
system accurate, easy and instant.
Absence Management
If you have staff who have left or may be subject to long periods of absence, when
they're not available to be included in your rosters, you can set them as 'inactive'.
All their details remain within the system and when they return to work you can
reactivate them instantly. All their historical information remains intact, as well.
You'll certainly save time by not having to change their calendar every month.
